mord12: Hmmmmm I dont think Turkish or Cyprus embassy staffs are on this forum unless as CIA agent....and its hard to guess what consular will ask applicants......ONLY you can answer what we don't know...................You wrote your exams yourself, You know your sponsor capability, you know the school name you applied to, course you applied for, how much you paid and why you wanted studying there?? stoicism: Yea Yeah is actually off-topic here could be well served in Czech thread. For me, I will tell you little I know about Czech. I only visit Prague on occasions but I visit Zlín more and more than Prague. Zlín is just a simple and low cost city in Czech. During those times I used to visit, If i walk for 30 mins..I always presume am the only dark colored human walking in that city...hardly see black or green colored people. Food is cheap and kinda quite country....although at Zlín střed railway market many people want to say hi to you cos u seems darker.....I visited the famous Bata Shoe company and the Bata University..was thinking to take short courses in shoe making and polymer then in this University. My friend we did masters together is from this city...mostly catholic people cos her parents and grand parents always have that Mother Mary thing in their houses.....Also this city features many movie producers...occasions have seen them shooting movies and like some kinda medieval ceremonies...I love their goat cheese....In general Czech seems quite cheaper compared with many other European countries. About visa: As far as I know all information you require can be located on their website clearly written and you don't need to engage agents to spoil your chances.....The most important thing about the embassy is that fake or forged documents will not be returned and will be submitted to relevant national authorities. An applicant who submits a fake or forged document takes a risk of criminal prosecution of his person. You may seek more help from the thread of those studying presently there or about to study.......me na traveler just visit-based fella! Best wishes! |

hello Dr wip, I have read alot of your posts for over a year now and I hail u Big brother but its my turn to ask a favour from you. I just received my conditional letter from the near east university(TRNC). I'm about paying the first half of my tuition which is €1400 but I like to know the minimum balance my sponsor should have in his account. He is self employed and saves about 30,000 naira a month After all his expenses. He has saved about a million naira Now but he wants to use 700,000 naira to support me plus my own 300,000 naira . I have other people who can add money to this for a successful trip but my fear is if the balance he has won't affect my Visa issuance. I need your help here please |

peebowpink: To be frank with you..its only consular or presiding officer that can actually evaluate visa application. They do check many things before they make decision. Sometimes, your educational qualification, age, ability of your sponsor to finance your studies without you turning into something else, genuineness of your documents and intention. Mostly, they would like to see steady source or flow of cash....I have heard people with 1-3 mill bank balance issued visa to study here. If you can gather all those funds together and not in lump form then, that should be okay. Last summer, a young man came to my office that he will be attending 7 days short courses under Oxford Continuing Education and sought for advise. He paid the course fee 630 pounds. Has 2000TL (less than 200K Naira) as balance in his bank account which was not lump sum. He was issued 6 months mult-entry visa from NC here.....So I dont know what the visa officer checked but he was issued.....meaning the the intent and ability to fund yourself during your program and returning could be an asset. May I ask you...are you aware that you will have to pay yoyr complete fees before that semesters end or possibly on arrival? is your sponsor aware of accommodation, living expenses and unforeseen contingencies? Also be aware that Jobs can be very scarce here and miracles hardly occur in this region. So be well prepared...I do wish you well! Give it a try!.....Wish you the best! 1 Like |

@ wip my cousin applied for emu admission on the online platform and secured admission. he made a mistake in typing wrong graduation date for his secondary school, . Aside that he used his parent as sponsor during course of registration and now he wants to use that of his uncle for securing visa at embassy. His fear is that he is unsure weither the information he filled online would be sent to the embassy alongside with the documents uploaded. Thanks 1 Like |

Bro, from this post I am sensing there might be problem from lump sum deposit. If the embassy requires 700k in my personal account and I deposit it all at once, I am very likely to raise suspicion and probably denial of the visa right? wip7: |

wip7: Wip7, what are price ranges of affordable nice cars in the south like?? And what procedures must one undertake to get one there?? I have a friend who wants me to make inquiries. Thought you might have good knowledge about this. |
Re: North Cyprus by Amosiye: 7:36pm On Jun 05, 2015 |
lexycool01: not difficult questions.. straight forward questions... *where are you travelling to *course of study *check for your name in the slip then sign close to your name *finally where is ur 10k naira. (visa fee) *come in one week time for your passport. This was how it went then (late February). but i don't know if there have been some changes in the policy now. During that time there was a change because i was expecting to collect my visa the next day or two days after, but to my surprise i was asked to come back in one week time. of which the previous batch of last year (fall semester) collected theirs the next day or in two days. As for refusal, i some people where in that category. but if your applications is in order, then you are on the right track. Ensure that the school has sent your name to the embassy. If not, straight deportation at the POE . this happened to my house mate, so he went back to Nigeria to wait for the school to send his name to the embassy. then he latter came back wen all was settled. (A lot was wasted {time|money}) so before u even go to the embassy ensure that all your docs, applications is in place. just package all the required documents well, ensure that the school has sent your name to the embassy. Ensure that you have authenticated your results in the ministry of education, your sponsorship letter have been notarized, you bank statement in the right order. Your acceptance letter, and your receipt of payment. With this and all other required documents in place u have no shaking. |
Re: North Cyprus by wip7: 8:04pm On Jun 05, 2015 |
Eureka123: First question is, where the person want to use the car? Cars are quite very cheap in South compared to North. Insurance in south also cheaper and no any procedure to buy just walk into the store and have your full cash with u. There are stores they sell and also they advertise online. It ranges from 2000-5000 euro depends on model, brand and year. But to use it in North is a real problem, it is easy if the person is European or American...you only pay in and out taxes and take it down to South every 3 months. If you dont have passport of those two places.....Police will be your best friend in North and will milk you dry! I bought this one I was using then for 3000euro and paid 150euro 2years insurance! the plate number is South plate number which differs from North so the police will easily stop anybody they noticed is not tourist or does not live in South. Presentation of those passports will save some long stories! 1 Like

wip7: Pheeww.... that's hectic. So, what would be your advise to a Nigerian student in North Cyprus planning to get one? I want to know how to advise him particularly. |
Re: North Cyprus by lexycool01(m): 8:37pm On Jun 05, 2015 |
I don't get the issue of notarisation of sponsor's letter. Is there a place to do that and finally how much money do i need in my sponsors account number. Thanks Amosiye: |
Re: North Cyprus by wip7: 8:59pm On Jun 05, 2015 |
Eureka123: Hmmm the whole of North Cyprus is less than Zamfara state...is not like London, Texas or Lagos...ooo......one advise is the person should be trekking if he/she lives close to school or around school and invest that money in something reasonable that would bring him/her happiness at the end. Reason is that, when you've got a car, you need to decide whether it's more of an asset or a liability. And treat it accordingly. If the person has good source of income that can cater for his immediate need and have cogent reasons to own the car in NC then .......straight to car shops. If the person must buy the car due to his/her personal reasons, then one easier way is to look for those graduating and want to sell there cars..those one can easily sell at ridiculous low prices but the person must engage the service of mechanics like 50-100TL to check the car system and thermodynamics before purchase if not such person will be a close pal to mechanics. Also, the car history should be checked with traffic police...if not the person will use his/her entire tuition fees pay fine the ex-user had incurred. First the person must define his/her target price, nature of car and year! these info will help in locating one!! in North one can still buy good cars from 7000-18,000TL. |
Re: North Cyprus by Amosiye: 9:04pm On Jun 05, 2015 |
lexycool01: * Notarization is done by notary public. there are some lawyer who are notary public. not all lawyers. When u check their sign board u will see it (Notary Public). or better still ask, but prices varies depending on the lawyer and ur relationship with the lawyer. if u hv a family lawyer it might done for free. some charge 5k naira or less . if u like to take chances u can get a mobile lawyer in in the embassy that does notarization. * Then the account balance........... to be on the safe side let ur sponsor should have above 2 million naira. |
