Job Description

We want a visionary Web Content Strategist in Muvinbox who will serve as a senior-level web editor and content strategist to enforce the our digital content strategy and help shape their online voice. The candidate will work with our team in the design, development, and implementation of new websites as well as maintenance of the existing web portfolio. The ideal candidate will have experience drawing on business goals and users needs to audit existing content and create a comprehensive plan for the future content.

Qualifications
Must have experience with content strategy deliverables and a thorough understanding of web usability and design practices. Prior experience planning and writing content for general audiences in plain language is imperative.

Experience enforcing voice, tone, and style standards according to a professional style guide, and experience planning, managing and approving content in a content management system.
Must have at least 1 years of full-time, professional experience in writing, editing and web content strategy for a business, government or non-profit environment. (i.e., volunteer, internship or college blogging does NOT contribute toward the required 5 years.
BA/MA in journalism, communications, marketing, online media or a related field
Basic proficiency with HTML and CSS
Understanding of web writing best practices, including chunking, bulleting and writing for Scannability. Experience writing and editing web content in plain language for diverse online audiences.
