Was it parked in the church premises or just around the church?
Where there no ushers around that noticed any fowl play?
Where there signs of forced entry, was there anything broken?
What step have you taken so far before coming to Nairaland?
Could it be that, your car has been a target before now, maybe the thief has noticed some security flaws or carelessness on your part, which aid them in stealing the car. I mean,I don't see the thief putting up much fight before gaining access to the car, otherwise he would have been noticed.
Could it be your husband's car key was stolen while in the church, by someone who knows him, which then gave the thief easy access to the car.
Since it is broad daylight, the thief wouldn't have broken anything to gain access, cos it would attract attention.
