I have a client but one of the biggest issues I have is communication since he is not in the country .should I update him on progress every week ? Multiple times a week or every two weeks .

COMMUNICATION is very important. You should update as much as possible. That way, he will see you as serious person. I personally get weary of people who hardly discuss terms on business. The more you communicate, the better. Do not wait for him to ask, since he is your client!

weekly is fine. too much of this communication like three times a week may annoy someone like me.
