The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Rebirth Group on Wednesday pledged their support and loyalty to Senator Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi Led National Leadership of the Party.

Comr. Franklyn Edede, a human right activist and a member of the party, said this on Wednesday while addressing World Press Conference on the state of the nation on the “Who is Who” PDP platform in Owerri, Imo State capital.

The group further commended Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike on his 49th birthday and for his dogged performance during the just concluded Rivers state rerun.

Edede further pleaded with Nigerians to pray for the party as they are sorting out issues of the party.

we can't pray for u. ur party don't have the interest of the masses at heart. after 16yr of looting n denying us of ur rights n privileges u expected us to support u after booting u out. we will still deal with u in 2019 until u repent totally. it's all about grabbing powers by the PDP.

No marginalisation under PDP.
It's a party that believes in inclusive governance.
The founding fathers did a good job.
It's the best platform for democracy.
They have their shortcomings but overall I would like to blame it on individuals.

Truth be told, Amaechi performed well as a PDP governor.
Enugu state Chime, jigawa state Lamido and Ak Akpabio did well.
Yaradua was more transparent than OBJ.
GEJ lacked political balls but he improved our democratic system and introduced some key policies.

Mbadinuju was horrible in Anambra, TA Orji was catastrophic in Abia,

Let's not pray for the downfall of opposition in this country.
Governors under OBJ were very bad at governance including Tinubu because of weak democracy.
Nigeria got better from 2007 when Fashola, Amaechi, Chime and Co came on board.

The north alone couldn't get him elected 3times until help came from the South West. Even the north won't vote him 100% the way they did in 2015 cos it was buhari V GEJ. 2019 likely to be Buhari Vs hausa/fulani candidate of the opposition. The battle will start at buhari's backyard.
