Making weight loss plans for men can be very different from women where men have different body needs both in terms of workout and diet plan. Because of the difference in the physical structures the nutrients that is needed in men’s body is also very different where for an effective weight loss, more protein and other useful minerals are required for men than women. The work out plan will also be different where the exercises are more intense and hardcore as men gets more advanced in their weight loss programs.
Therefore, let us have a look at an effective weight loss plan that a man can have from the beginning.

As a beginner

If you want to start on the weight loss program effectively, you have to start from the basics. You can begin with cardio sessions every four days a week. In the cardio sessions try to understand the stamina and the limits that you have in terms of how far or for how long you can run or do other cardio sessions at a go. Cardio sessions can be of very different types like running, cycling, skipping and so on. A combination of all is a very effective process where for example, if you are doing 30 minutes of cardio, a combination of 20 minutes running and 10 minutes cycling is ideal. Do not forget to stretch the different parts of the body to keep your body flexible during the work out sessions. Slowly start adding other free hand exercises like jumping jacks, push-ups, sit ups and squats in the list.

Do not jump on to a strict food diet directly when you have started the workout program. When you are exercises regularly, you may feel hungrier. Do not starve yourself at any cost; start having small meals at regular intervals. The main aim here is to have a necessary surplus of calories in our body. Moreover, try to slowly cut down your previous food habits like burgers, potato chip/cracker and cookies. Add more natural foods like fruits and vegetables in the diet.

Make sure you implement the strategy slowly and gradually where making sudden changes may make your body to face problems adapting to the sudden changes.

Advancing to the next stages
In a few months’ time, you will slowly begin to adapt to the changes where it will be the perfect time for you to go on the next level of the weight loss program. A lot of men take their weight loss program to the next level by joining the gym and start lifting weights. Lifting weights is certainly a very good way of burning fat from all parts of your body and also develop muscles to give you a good body shape. Therefore, if you are lifting weights, your work out plan would be divided to target each body parts on different days. For example, you can do Chest and Triceps exercises on Day 1, Back and Biceps on Day 2 and Legs and Shoulders on Day 3, taking rest for the next two days to start all over with chest and biceps from the next day with continuing the routine for 8-10 weeks. Make sure to include abdominal exercises at the end of each workout day as well including regular cardio sessions according to your body’s needs. Keep changing your routine innovatively after every 8 weeks to keep you motivated.

As for meal plans, since you are lifting weights, your meals should consist of a lot of proteins with fair amount of carbs as well. Also drink a lot of water which is the most basic and important component that aids the weight loss and muscle building process. You can also take several protein supplements that help faster muscle building and weight loss process.

Keeping Records
When you are on a weight loss program, to get faster and proper results, always keep records of your daily calorie intakes and also how much you are burning at the gym. Take pictures of your body from time to time and compare with the old ones to see how much progress you have made. Always set realistic goals for yourself on how much pounds to lose each month and how you want your body to look like at the end of each workout routine. It is best to have someone to track your progress all the time and help you with the workout and the routine from time to time. Certainly, hiring a personal instructor is the best way to achieve your desired body shape faster.
