The fact that the governor and his wife filed a case claiming ownership of the money does not mean they will automatically get the money. Some months ago, an unscrupulous Ibo lawyer also filed a case claiming ownership of a very high percentage of the money as his legal fees, his claim was righly trashed and thrown out. Hopefully, this new claim by Bagudu will also be thrashed and thrown out without sentiment. The money belongs to Nigeria and we will get it no matter the machinations of some greedy elements.
