This is unarguably one big topic of discuss that every time it is rised you can not but wonder about how differently people share their various opinions some with valid points to back it up while other don't even care they just say what they feel is right. So today i bring it up for all nairaland lets hear what you guys think about this question. Does age really matter in a relationship?

If it doesn't matter, why do people scream blue murder when a 14 year old is in a relationship with a 24 year old?

It's the same reason why we call people "under-age".

As long as they are both adults, i think it's no biggie.
Therefore it's alright, it doesn't matter

Although old age doesn't necessary confer wisdom, yet with age and knowledge comes wisdom - self-illumination. Therefore, age matters to a certain level, however, one's level of self-illumination matters most.

Now, to the main subject under discussion; the fundamental is the foremost factor to consider in any meaningful cause in life. So, when it comes to issue of a serious relationship, first know your ethical philosophy and look for someone that shares same ethical philosophy and you are good to go. Meanwhile, it takes one who have achieved self-illumination to know his ethical philosophy.

On the other hand, conventional wisdom would tell eg a sane 30 yrs old man not to seek for a life partner in a 100 yrs old woman and vice versa. . . This is all about being conscientious.

at tyms you wil see a 14 years old that is matured than 22yrs old, so my opinion is age dos't matter has long you ar well matured to deal with d disadvatages that come's in the relatnship

Age matters o. I flow more with ladies i am just a couple of years older than or older than me than with ladies 10 year younger. Generational gap is real. The latter ones drive me nuts most times though a few have their acts together but try too hard to impress.

Nothing matters in love if there is a genuine understanding and trust between each other
or else, every thing will be a big problem. We need to put a hold or restriction to some certain things in life the society uphold.
