The political structure and of course, the Constitution of Federal Republic of Nigeria delegates the administrative power and functions of a State on the Governor, who shall be the administrative Head of Government (of that State), the Chief Security Officer and also the Chairman of the State’s executive council. The governor, on assumption of office is expected to run all administrative process and procedures with the State’s Deputy Governor, Members of the State’s Executive Council and other stakeholders of the state. But Somewhere in Nigeria, the Governor of a State delegated the “control” of ministries of Women Affairs, Works, Health, as well as the Office of the Secretary to the State Government to his wife, the First Lady.
