The students' under the aegis of National association of Nigeria students has given kudos to ‎Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state after an assessment of time spent in office, this was made known during an interview with the chairman of Joint campus committee (JCC) of National association of Nigerian students' (NANS), Lagos axis when he paid an impromptu visit to the Lagos state Polytechnic, Isolo. Comrade Moses stated that aside various programmes that has been set in motion by the people's governor, it is good to note the ones that affects the immediate environment of the students' in the state which includes; infrastructures, security, employment scheme, housing, wealth creation and food security.

“Recently, the Governor led the state to enter a partnership with Kebbi state for production of rice, which is a major food consumed in Nigeria, today, we are seeing the result which is a relief on the populace” the chairman added.

It could be noted that Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, aside from being a scholar, he has brought peace to Lagos state University (LASU), an institution known for battling to attain internal stability, it's not just a message for his love for a peaceful environment but a commitment to education which is the best gift a child can have.

The students' body in Lagos state, however seek better relationship with the governor to ensure all issues arising gets solutions in the spirit of growth in the state to promote peace and stability.

While believing more social welfare will be introduced to ease the stress in the academia, especially as regards the students, we enjoin the students' constituency to continue to be law abiding and celebrate the season with care and love, Comrade Samson Moses advised.‎
