It is confirmed that Crystal palace has sacked their manager Alan Pardew. The Coach joined the club 18 months ago as a replacement for Neil Warnock.
However, that run to the final clouded the side’s league form and the London club finished just five points above the relegation zone.

Pardew was handed significant funds in the summer to invest in the likes of Andros Townsend and Christian Benteke but defeats against Chelsea and Manchester United have left the Eagles just a point above safety.

Palace chairman, Steve Parish, confirmed Pardew’s departure today and said the club were sad to see him go.

‘I would like to put on record our sincere gratitude for the tremendous service Alan has given us, both in his time here as Manager and previously as a player, a statement read.

Wouldn't be long before a struggling team in the snaps him up. Really good manager but his long term future seems to have terrible obstacles after a couple of seasons.
