Is Mtn Performing Thier Socio Economic Function In Nigeria (academically) by ciscoprin: 11:49pm On Nov 17, 2009 |
Over the years i have come to realise that the telecommunication industry named MTN NIG who break even within the first six month of coming to nigeria do not perform thier socio economic function , instead of this all they go around doing is street jamz ,sponsoring party and football league . In the aspect of education i think that they have failed totally . what we expect from them , Bringing scholarships into all secondary and tertiary institution . Establishment of ICT centres for training on ICT at a subsidiced rate Assisting the physically challenged people for computer training Sponsoring of Academic talk in the tertiary institutions. we have heard about shell who has started scholarship several years ago and its still in existence till date . so why are company like this can even help the country , tell them we know what is right for us and if they fail to do that, they might also fail as a company at least there is almost 5 competitive communication comp[any in Nigeria .if they fail us we will fail them as well . but if anybody has any other thing contrary to this or an addition please lets talk about it and forward to them |
