As soon as I entered their residence, Grace was the first one to say hi to me, she kept saying sit down come and eat, eat eat eat na, I just smiled and looked at her with so much love, here’s a kid who had Down Syndrome and didn’t give a damn about anything in the world and her mother runs Dew Drops Orphanage Home.


The other kids soon gathered around me, excited to see a new face, they sang and laughed, about 4 of them said to me “Auntie you’re fine o” loll but in my heart I knew I wasn’t as pretty as the genuine smiles on their faces.

I have spent 24 Christmases with my parents, some of these kids never knew theirs or lost theirs too soon, and it made me realize how lucky and fortunate I am, this season is all about love and giving, I met Gracie’s mum one day at the mall soliciting for funds to raise these kids, I was touched and I promised I was going to pay her a visit some day and also do volunteer work for the foundation.


Please help with whatever you can, these kids need it, they’re trying to complete their own building which will include a school and a ten bedroom apartment to accommodate more kids who have been abandoned and need help, donate whatever you can to their bank account
