You're a full fledged Edo or should I say Bini! And like I always tell you Bini children, when the time comes you'd all be kicked outta Anioma back to the Benin your émigré parents fled from 1 Like |

Cire80:Your saying cheruv is an imposter? Cheruv, is this true? Say it ain't so. Cheruv, quick quick hurry back here and defend Yourself. You've got some explaining to do |
Re: Delta (and Rivers) Igbos by Cire80: 8:06am On Mar 14, 2017 |
cheruv:You're an imposter. There's a difference between an imposter and an alternate account but going by Nairaland rules, it has to be secret. I've been using both at same person. You're dull to have just noticed this. My comments on the account are same. But I don't open account to claim what I'm not or change ethnicity. I was on a new device and having issues signing in to my account so decided to open one. Now I comment based on the device I'm on. Just to clear the air. |

bigfrancis21:You know, you get blind when you get too suspicious. You follow what your mind tells you ignoring the facts. You guys have been trying to link me to different monikers that I don't have any link with but blind to that one. I make comments here and continue with the other. I respond to my quote on this account with the other account and vice versa. It took you guys months to notice this despite your nose sniffing? Linking me with agbontae, exotic and the rest while is ridiculous. Says a lot about you guys. You believe only what you want to believe |
Re: Delta (and Rivers) Igbos by bigfrancis21: 9:17am On Mar 14, 2017 |
Cire80: You have no moral footing to be calling someone else imposter! @bold...same as you too. Despite lack of tangible evidence you still want to believe that 'Igbos' arrived en masse in Ika land in the 15th century, changed your language, your town names, everything etc. Even against tangible evidence of the contrary by Pa Iduuwe a distinguished Ikaa historian, you chose to stick to your phantom beliefs. Pot calling kettle black. 1 Like |

bigfrancis21:His delusions have been taken to a new height! I couldn't help but smile at his childish mishieves. On our own side, I think it's high time we promote the Igbo culture, pride, oneness and greatness. We should uphold our values of intelligence, hard work. Let's distinguish ourselves wherever we go. Let's stand for our great sons and kick against any element of falsehood in our society. Criminal elements desecrating the name and what we stand for should be kicked and disgraced so generations coming up can live up to a great value and legacy. Then and only then will we continue to gain our respect. Our language will flourish and our names be mentioned always for the right reasons. Then the deniers amongst us will beg and crave to identify with our greatness. Even people with the slightest connection with us will deny theirs and embrace our identity. Imagine Igboland was like America or Europe, and Nigeria still Nigeria, these fake elements amongst us will naturalise by default. We all have a role to play. 3 Likes |

Eke40seven: Exactly That's what am working...making our people more proud of their heritage, from igbanke in the West to isobo in the East.. All Igbos Right now am working on some projects especially as regards Igbo language....something like producing standard Igbo language Bibles, producing atlases in Igbo language, producing a comprehensive Igbo vocabulary with at least up to 100000 entries.. Guy its not easy Concerning maps...the most popular Igbo map flying about on NL is what I asked ezeagu, a fellow Anioma from agbor to do for me. Now this map is one of the most popular Igbo maps you can get..he did both of them and am proud am among the crew that are changing the narrative. The second one has already been adopted by Niger Delta proponents for use in advancing their case

Calling someone "the man" is how bros talk, there's nothing gay about that. I called him cool peoples, what's gay about that? A guy says something positive and that's considered gay? |

blues2022: I don't understand the purpose of threads like this. They only serve to denigrate the legacy of our great Igbo ancestors. If some peripheral communities claim they are actually Martians who just happen to speak Igbo (as illogical as that may sound), is it not wiser to ignore them? Do we not have enough self affirming Igbos already? The legacy of our ancestors is a great and mighty one and it's a sacred honour to be identified with them. They were the among the first people on the planet to smelt iron some 3000 years ago (archeological remains in the Nsukka area demonstrate this). The earliest examples of the use of bronze in the entire West Africa were the Igboukwu bronzes. Why should we continue to foist an undeserved heritage on people who clearly do not want it. Please stop sharing pearls to swine. 2 Likes |
