Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau has appeared in a new video to debunk Nigeria’s government claims that the group has been crushed and flushed out of its Sambisa forest stronghold.
“We are safe. We have not been flushed out of anywhere. And tactics and strategies cannot reveal our location except if Allah wills by his decree,” Shekau said in the 25-minute video, flanked by armed fighters.

The fight is not about clearing camp zero!

Whoever gave Burundi and Buhari that clearing a forest means defeat of a terrorist organisation is a big fool.

When they capture Shekau alive and have him make national announcement denouncing his organisation and his members surrender arms, that's when we can give credit for any defeat.

For your info, claiming to have cleared camp zero is contradictory to earlier claim by last December that Borough Horam no more held territory.
