50 CENT has been on a rampage recently, trying to get some buzz for his latest album, "before i self destruct", which finally dropped on tuesday, nov 16 2009, after delaying it for like 16 months.

The funny thing is that after all the buzzz he tried to create; from resurecting his beef with FAT JOE, to continuing the beef with RICK ROSS, and extending the beef to TRIPPLE C'S; to trying to get back with VIVICA FOX; to making a diss track with BEANIE SIGEL direected at jay, which dropped a couple of days ago; to dissing LIL WAYNE, OMG! What did this guy not do. He even tried to make amends with some new york rapper (jadakiss, joe budden, ), all that and he is projected to sell just between 140-160k first week.

dude even put a free cd, a movie he made, as a bonus in the cd, and also free tickets to some g-unit shows,

It is so bad that JIMMY IOVINE had to make some power moves at itunes, so that they would include his 2 weeks itune sales to his first week physical cd sales.

And the funny thing is that i heard the album is good, not classic, but really good. I guess karma is a mofo; after making fun of all those other rappers, now he is in the same league with them, lol.

I guess pple just got tired of all the gimmicks.

rick ross has crushed him as i expected.rick ross revealed 50s lyrical weakness and 50 had to resort to unconventional means than battle rick rhyme for rhyme.now ricks album is the third best selling rap album of the year and 2nd best after bp3 in quality.the album will up a bit to 200k instead of 150k as predicted.this album is better than his last but his image is no longer as influential.

This also goes on to confirm the saying that pride goeth before a fall.
eminem is also on his way down.his relapse was so criticized that he has decided to add 7 more tracks to the album and release it again.if that sells 600k more it will make relapse 2x platinum album but?

@ the dude that said downloads are killing the market, yeah i know that, but that has been going on for a while, and it did not stop wayne from going plat in a week. And a more recent example is eminem's relapse, pple were downloading it for about two weeks before it dropped, and it still sold 600k first week. Jay-z's blueprint 3 album had the same problem, but he still sold over 400k first week. That should not be an excuse. Pple are just tired of gimmicks, regardless of downloads, if you give your fans, and the general public good music, they would wait and buy it when it drops.

He`actually agreed that he flopped when they asked him on b.e.t recently, and he made an excuse about 'as long as he has good enough songs on the album to do shows with, then he is good with that', funny he is the same person that used to place so much emphasis on sales as a criteria for whether an album is dope, i guess i would not have been saying all this if he had been humble.

And the funny thing is that he has so much money, he is worth over 400 million dollars, his first two albums sold over 10 million copies individually, overseas, but he would never ever make rapper's "top five dead or alive" list, hell, jadakiss makes a lot of those list and he hardly sells platinum, i guess this is what is going to get CURTIS really frustrated, "in high school you was the man homie, what the Bleep happened to you" lol.

Downloads are killing the market,ehh.
i got Relapse and BP3 three weeks before the albums officially dropped and it did not remove a grain from their first week sales.
The punk kept us waiting for a year to drop this flop.

I "listened" to this album this morning and I didn't hear a whole song. Not one. I found myself skipping tracks about 15-20 seconds into every song. I didn't even listen to all the songs. . . i just started listenin to some other shit. Thats how bad I think the album is. Now maybe I just need to be patient with it, but i don't think I want to. I'm a big fan of 50cents the individual, and I love Get Rich or Die Trying, but this album is garbage. The guy has nothing to say that can entertain me. It's just so fukn tired and played out, the stuff he says.

Men Bleep dat internet shit. Didnt jay-z's album leak much before the release date, courtesythe internet but stil he even beat the projected first week sale of 300-350k to get at 450k. And now he has even crossed the platinum mark comfortably. Fif is strugglin to meet 100k, hahaahahaah. Yeah d internet is really killin artist but if u've gat hard listenin fans, most of them will even cop the album after downloadin so as to prove how much they appreciate the artist. even if i was given a free Fifty cent CD, i wud trade it for a pair of stockins, at least i've good use for those. lol.
Fity had two or three mixtape, even did a video off one of the stupid songs on the mixtape and stil his album aint gettin no buzz even wit a beehive on it. lol. Men Bleep fifty. ross even try enter 300K. It's just fat joe who really had the worst from this year sellin a petty 8,900 (dont know if he had crossed the 10,000 mark though, lol).
