Nigerian State Governments (Lagos inclusive/principally) are in the habit of demolishing unplanned areas of cities to provide plots with mediocre infrastructure for sale to the wealthy.

Lagos in particular owes a huge chunk of its IGR to land transactions.

Where are the planned areas where the lower class is meant to live in abi they don't deserve a 'normal' standard of living and right to shelter, water and all?

I pity many, who have been deceived by omo oniles along lekki-epe expressway by selling government land to them. The day they'd pull down their estates, it will be like the day the ship called titanic liverpool drowned in the movie.
