Hello house. Can somebody please let me in on where I can check the admission list for LAG's PG computer programs i.e. MSc Comp Sci, MIT and PGD Comp Sci? Heard the results are out and have been to the SPGS website but no dice. Or do I have to go down to the school physically when they made us go online to fill the forms? If my thesis is correct,that would be too bad especially seeing Comp Sci dept  [if not any other dept] should have its results online. Please some1 tell me I'm just been paranoid and point out where I can check it online. Thanks a bunch!

Like Obinoscopy said, it ISNT online - very weird indeed,

i just strolled into the
department and there is was on the NOTICE BOARD.

Once u ve confirmed that ur name is on d list, go into the secretaries office
and get ur letter.

Remember to take ur Application number with you.

That's not weird, that's crazy.
It makes you have second thoughts as to why a Computer Science dept that we registered for online reqsuires our physical presence to pick up our admission letter. It makes one have second thoughts about the if the program is not just theory theory theory. It's really crazy seeing I have to shut down my hustle for hours to go check it out. Congrats to U anyway Shupsy. Is it the department @ Science Faculty U got it from? Do let me know. Also please when is the registration deadline? Thanks mate!

I dont think this Wednesday would be to late, as at when i got mine only
about 4 or 5people had collected theirs; according to the letter - Registration would
last 4 abt 6wks + Nigerian factor so i think u r still well covered.

Even at BSc level I didnt do those languages - I studied Java, Visual C# 2005
I mean in classes o, not self study, so FORTRAN, not at all, but as som1 said
Expect nytin o, and the way our country they go, uhm, make i reserve my comment.

Java, Visual C++ 2005, that's modern. Wanted to ask year U graduated but since this languages are current by industry standards, I'm placing U between 2006-2008. 2007 specifically, did I hit bulls eye with 2007?

Before nko! Na UniLag profs wan feed grown men like us during this testy financial times? That's why I never considered Ui though their form came out @ about the same time as Akoka. Before our behinds touch the class seats and the seats get used to our body temperature [that's if they don't give us lab stools to sit upon] ,they will start harassing us to pay school fees. I have my own hustle going on and plan to continue it. In the civilized world they have part time courses for those who'd want to choose that route. If it was research based I'd still try [with a very small] sha to understand seeing some research based computer science degrees are PT. But if they behave like stiff necks regarding flexibility of timing of courses and attendance, I'm kicking LAG to the trash can and going for BCS full blast. Might cost more though but it's got flexibility and especially global appeal some thing I doubt LAG has.  Why doubt? LAG does not.

I want to confirm if BIOLOGY is not necessary for B.SC ELECT/ELECT in UNILAG.
Also,i am using GCE NOV/DEC 2008 for this year's admission.When i went to WAEC office at OGBA,they told me that the original certificate isn't ready, I asked for STATEMENT OF RESULT and they told me that the result i printed out from the computer was the statement of result, Can this be??
I will be glad to receive any response as soon as possible.

About your first Question, honestly I dont know, I think the JAMB Prospectus should
be able to effectively answer that.

Now about the GCE Nov/Dec 2008, I dont think the Original certificate can be ready yet
There used to be a TWO Year wait period, but am not certain if that still applies any longer.

And about the statement of result, i think that is right also, that is what someone i know
used during his admission last year, so i guess it should apply this year also.

Note: In this I stand to be corrected O! Am not claiming EXACTNESS or CERTAINTY here.

I'm having SERIOUS PROBLEMS registering online. I have paid my school fees and other sundries but I've not gotten my matric number and I can't log in with my application number either!!
I've complained but it has not yet been solved. Is this how my Masters programme will be with Unilag?. . . problems, problems problems?
