Nigeria is a country greatly blessed with natural and human resources. Our rich cultural heritage, diversity and natural endowment was what brought the British colonizers to our shores.

It is sad to notice that we are gradually loosing sight of whom we really are.

Our behaviors kept bringing these questions to my mind.

1. What happened to our Mother tongue?

I have a feeling that some Nigerian dialects will go extinct before 2050.

2. What happened to our African heritage?

What happened to our arts and occupations? What happened to the beautiful patterns we saw our Moms plaited in the good old days?

3. What happened to our local delicacies?

It's annoying seeing a typical concentrated Hausa boy eating Tuwo with cutleries. Gosh! That's totally disgusting. How many ladies can now confidently prepare their local delicacy? All we eat now is fried and dried food.

4. What happened to our dress sense?

Gone are the days when fashion was all about how well we covered our body. Today's woman is shy to cover 75% of her body if fashion considers it archaic but can confidently expose everything just to be regarded as happening.

5. What really happened to us?
