A Pharmaceutical firm with chains of retail stores in different locations in Nigeria requires qualified candidates to fill the following positions: 4) JOB TITLE: LOCUM Pharmacist LOCATION: LAGOS – (Magodo Phase II/Ogudu/Ogba/ Magboro) RESPONSIBILITIES: To supervise all sales associates in the pharmacy Keeping up to date on trends in drugs, herbs, nutritional supplements, cosmetics and pharmacy practice. Ensure monthly trainings for pharmacist are carried out in the shop Drive the process of collecting data of customers who visit the pharmacy Design and execute health awareness campaigns and outreaches that would help drive the business of the Pharmacy Marketing and sales of company's products and services. Ensure all financial and strategic targets are met by achieving daily and monthly sales objectives for your branch. Ensure that drugs do not expire on the shelf. Supervise the PHCN and generator operations to ensure there is always power in the Pharmacy Ensure timely resolution of all customer complaints Ensure stock outs are reduced to the barest minimum and drive the process of replenishing stock as soon as possible. Out of stock should be written on a daily basis. Ensures the imprest/petty cash accounts are properly managed. (For branches without an accountant) Dispensing prescription medicines to the customers Checking dosage and ensuring that medicines are correctly and safely supplied and labelled. Keep up to date register of controlled drugs for stock control purposes Selling over-the-counter medicines Managing, supervising and training pharmacy support staff Advising customers of any adverse side-effects of medicines or potential interactions with other medicines/treatments Evaluate new medications against claims made by pharmaceutical companies Ensure all cash sales are banked intact on a daily basis. Drive the medication use review process and ensure the all records are properly kept Regularly train sales associates to refresh their basic product knowledge QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS Possession of a B.Pharm Possession of Licence to Practice as a Pharmacist Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Good interpersonal relations and communications skills Critical thinking and problem solving skills. Resilient with a “can do” spirit. A self-starter proactive and a goal getter.
