Last year no doubt, was a tough year, for me and most people I know. Despite this, something kept me laughing through the sad times…memes! Yes, memes.



Wikipedia defines memes as;

"an idea, behavior, or style that spreads from person to person within a culture. A meme acts as a unit for carrying cultural ideas, symbols, or practices that can be transmitted from one mind to another through writing, speech, gestures, rituals, or other imitable phenomena with a mimicked theme".


Memes are the reason why sometimes, when I pull out my phone in a public place or in a public transport, I laugh all by myself. I try to contain this laughter as best as possible so people don’t think I’m nuts
