The Hausa and Fulani would have responded same way if JEG had decided to hold Buhari responsible and make him pay for those incendiary remarks that fuelled violence in the aftermath of 2011 elections. Am sure that most of the hypocrites commenting today would have advised GEJ to face government and not overheat the polity. It is very easy to take certain positions when you have not been on the receiving end of social and political injustice. Yes we must fight corruption but it must be under a just prefect and system.

Obj spent 8 corrupt years in the villa,what did he do for his people, the west still remains a glorified village.what we are saying is that,if they truly want to fight corruption,they should start with,IBB,ABACHA AND OBJ,,Then we can understand that this government is really sincere in the fight against curruption,and not this direct and continuous intimidation of the former first family.This witchhunting must stop.

Anyway, the short of the story is that No Govt will fall for blackmail, no matter how powerful you think you have become.
The Nigerian Govt enlists, trains and pay officers and men of the military (Armed forces in general), to deal with threats like the ones coming from the creeks.
We will fund the armed forces to carry out their sworn-duty and if they have to wipe out the Niger Delta, to maintain peace, so be it.
And before you start getting ahead of yourselves, get information that we are gradually "putting alternatives in-place" (may not be cheaper but it will do for now) to call your bluff such that we can afford to burn the whole Niger Delta, if need be.

It will be painful for everyone involved but it will be worse for some others!
That is the painful truth.
