Police clears air over Sahara Reporter’s publisher arrested reports

Following a spiraling arrest report of Sahara Reporter’s Publisher, Omoyele Sowore, across media, the Lagos State Police Command has cleared air on the seeming detention of the online media outfit boss.

In an incident report release late on Wednesday by the Police Public Relation office (PPRO) Dolapo Badmos, it explained that a distress call was received by the command that Sowore was being attacked by suspected hoodlums on Isaac John street inside GRA, ikeja.

The state said, “the police swiftly responded, and upon arrival at the scene contrary to the report that a robbery attack was taking place, the police met the duo of Omoyele Sowore and Lekan Fatodu engaged in a brawl and altercation.
