. The Inspector General of police Ibrahim K. Idris has deployed over 1,000 combatant ready police to cordon off the premises of Central Bank of Nigeria to stop the protesters who want to stage a rally tagged #OccupyCBN. The Protesters has assembled in front of Women Development center in Abuja, the takeoff point, a few distance from the Central Bank with various placards in their thousands as well and are ready to kick off the protest despite the army of police at the Central Bank. The conveners, Prince Adeyanju and Prince Adelaja Adeoye told WailersNG reporter that a letter of notice has been delivered to the Commissioner of Police, FCT command to inform them as required by Law. They also posited that it is the constitutional right of citizens to have a peaceful assembly whenever their is need to protest against bad governance and government stressing further that no amount of threat, intimidation or blackmail from Police, CBN and their co- travelers can stop the protest. The CBN governor must come out to answer the numerous question on the alleged sharp practices, frauds and illegal FOREX deals going on in the apex bank to the detriment of the economy and the poor Nigerian masses.
