I wnt call dis a poem...just something inspired by true events or sld i say true feelings..:

* when I met u I had met you,
But didn't know I had met you
Cos I was focused on the mini skirt
That was beside you
So I'd stop by for lunch errytime it was her shift - and yours
It wasn't formal when i signed off as 'sincerely yours'
I remember that day clearly and here's d fun fact:
Sitting at my table trying to make eye contact
With ur friend..I had her no. and a message to send
But then she shifted and I saw you at the other end
U caught my attention like u prey'd on my mind
Appreciating God for ur beauty as I pray in my mind
I'd like to skip introductions to introductions if u don't mind
Cos I see u as my wife thru d eye in my mind..
I ain't just weaving a story this is not a fabrication
Dat day something touched me like I had sensitive calibration*

Just take your time and arrange it, correct spellings, creates a rhyming meter at end or middle, stanza, and believe me, it'll be lovely that you'll like it all over again.
I'm learning poetry too, and it's interesting!
