Why are there these disparities na?
For example, a whole Ahmadu Bello university ZARIA does not pay up to 40k and its also a Federal university while this Fuoye that is not even up to its standard is paying more

school fees in the north are quite cheaper and I don't knw why it shld be so,after all they are all federal university...Abu zaria is cheap,fodia university and the host of them...but in d west,east and south fees re too much....God help us

My brother gained admission into this very university and after paying an acceptance fee of #30,000 , school fees of #89,000 was paid which includes everything as shown in the break down list from the schools portal. The school had to be requesting for another fee for medical fees, administration fee which was already included in the overall fee of #89,000. I mean, THIS IS FRAUD! DAY LIGHT ROBBERY!

Do you know Oye town at all?a village that hasno bank or atm point. The truth is that no govt is willing to spend their 4yrs development any village in Nigeria. Wonder why Lagos and abuja is fast developing than all Nigerian cities put together.

Ado and Ikerre already boast of a number of higher institutions on ground, so siting this there won't make much difference to those towns as it would do to Oye. The only thing is for the FG to spend heavily on infrastructure in that school and by extension the University community (Oye) would enjoy the spill-over effect. Some of the world's best institutions-Oxford, MIT are not located in the most developed parts of the states they're sited, so what's your point?

No student money gets to federal government. Tuition is free for federal universities. All money collected are utilised by the schools.

my brother ,m a student in fuoye....400lvl,animal production and health..... the medical fee in the skul fee is futuristic.... I.e it doesnt have to anything with the present moment..... maybe when he Iya sick or being admitted and probably drips needed...this medical fee in the skul fee covers it up.....


but the one u are asked to pay now is for medical test.....

his blood will be tested ,check up,urine test,xray test and a whole lot of test just to check his status and health ......dz z d difference... its not extortion.

in our time I paid 102k as an agric student and we still balling.....

yea it is a federal uni n we stalites pay 50k plus but we ain't gotta choice.....

no Sir...... I don't think so....there were some clashes with some fulanis in the other campus in ikole but it has been long and there is nothing like beheading Sir
