For the benefit of those that are yet to be interviewed. I'll recount my experiences today. *Group discussion was good, we delegated responsibilities before the discussion began. This helped us finish and present with 2mins to spare. Make sure you take notes on the sheet of paper that will be provided, cos u won't exit the room with it and I think they'll go through it afterwards. Also ensure to contribute, and be audible. *The first question I was asked during the interview was what I'd have done better if given another chance at the group discussion. I was asked about my opinion on the performance of my team members. Make sure you don't bad mouth anyone here, do mention your team members name when giving ur opinion.Shows ure attentive to details. Questions like; -When you were in a team of people with different cultural backgrounds. -If we had just one slot, sell urself to us. Alot of behavioral questions, practice as many as u can. If you're not an accounting major, pls have an answer to "Why Accounting "? *I was well drilled today, was interviewed for over an hour. I don't feel too confident right now, but I'm hopeful. Was opportuned to meet Mcpat, Gnen,r4blessing and the big boss himself TheRealAdonye. All the best guys. #SignsOut 5 Likes 2 Shares |

My interview experience was like Eljay described (did mine yesterday). These are my opinions oh, not necessarily the opinion of the panel. Group discussion was great. We delegated at the meeting before meeting the panel. Topic was on Child abuse and how to solve the problems surrounding protection of Child rights in Nigeria. We were able to discuss and present with 2 minutes to spare. One-on-one discussion started with them asking me to rate my team members (I mentioned the names as best as I could and also indicated that there was lovely synergy between us). They went to ask me the following questions, (as much as I could remember) - Why PwC - My most challenging experience working in a team (they asked me this twice) - A question tailored to my field of study - 2 recent local and international news each. Including one significant news related to my field - New development in IFRS (I think it's cos I already have a experience so you might not be asked this) I asked them 2 questions after that and we left. Generally, I think it went well. The panel looked relaxed and interested. Mine was maybe the shortest cos I spent less than an hr with them. I also noted that they discuss at length after meeting each person maybe to compare notes and decide on their final position. Try to be confident, audible and maintain eye contact. I believe it is important that they see you are able to hold your own in a tensed up situation. It was a pleasure meeting everyone yesterday oh. Mcpat, Gnen (who I thought will be a female), r4blessing and the rest whose monikers I don't know. I hope the news in July is favorable. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Like Chima and Eljay, I also had my interview yesterday. It was a wrong day to have a bad morning, thus I got to Landmark 8am even when I woke up before 5.30. Group Interview was lit, was in the same group with MsrChyma, r4blessing and some other monikas I can't remember and we were able to carry everybody along and made sure everybody made at least a point. Most importantly, we stuck to time. Chima presented for us and we spent 13mins for deliberation and presentation. I was last to be interviewed, it was the most intense period I have had in a long time. At a point, I was wondering if I was coming in for an experienced position. That said, I was asked a lot, emphasis on a lot of behavioural questions. We went back and forth, high school, university, service year, high school, final year project. At the tail end, I was tired and couldn't give astute replies in my own point of view. My last question was, Why should I hire you? So I did a lot to redeem my last 3 replies. In all, it was an interesting experience. Developed serious headache immediately Madam Toyin walked me out. They deliberate on If you are to be hired for about 30 mins after your panel so I have no idea why people have been tight-lipped about their interview. Wish everybody the best, I'll grade my interview a 6/10, I hope for the best. 2 Likes |

What we would have done better in the team. What do u tink was d main purpose for the group discussion? Introduce yourself. Tell us about a time u were result oriented? Why are you doing a particular programme? (dats cus am doing a course) Tell us about a time your work was criticized and how u handled it? One international news. One Nigerian news. Tell us about a time you worked in a team do u have challenges and how did u handle it. Whr I see mysef in 5-10yrs. Tell us abt PwC. As an investor what state would u advise me to start my investment (dat was cus I hav bin to sm states)? What other interest do u have? What do u indulge in when u are not working? What other companies have you applied to? At a point I Tot I was boring them I jez had to summarize it. Wish evry1 success, I was told we wld get reply 1st week of July. Am hoping for the best, expecting the worst. My team members: ubong, aminat, tola (Mr survival of the fittest), esther and lilian. Then; joy, Okechukwu, Emmanuel, Evans, Basil (I can't remember d full name). I wish u guys the best. The group ish: wat I got frm others and mine as well; - Cybersecurity/ cyberspace. - Unemployment causes and solution. - Corruption. - State of the nation and what professionals can do abt it. - Merits and demerits of using social media for business development. Honestly I dunno if I did okay or well because the interviewers acted emotion less so July would tell. Am just fulfilling my promise in assisting my successor. Wish Evryone the best (mayoor..., gnen, candyy, mcpat, okechukwu, oversight..., nwag..., asiwaju, larochelle, trapqueen..., etal) Signing out... 5 Likes 1 Share |
