HR Manager The Organization Our client is a boutique Hotel located in Lagos that has built a reputation for providing memorable and high value experience to guests to its property. Job Objective This position contributes a high level of human resource generalist knowledge and expertise for the property. He/she will be accountable for talent acquisition, succession/workforce planning, performance management and development for property employees, using technology efficiently, and coaching/developing others to help influence and execute business objectives in the most efficient manner. Organizational Relationships The Human Resources Manager reports directly to the General Manager. The Person The person should have a minimum of 5 years working experience in a Strategic Human Resources role; Demonstrated understanding of the hospitality insustry will put candidates in strong stead. He/she must be energetic and mentally agile. The person should also have a pleasant personality and must be passionate about people's well-being and growth. Key Job Responsibilities The Human Resources Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Direct involvement and oversight of the Sourcing and Selection process; Creation and implementation of Training and Development initiatives; Developing and implementing accountability-enhancing Performance Mgt. process. Take ownership of initatives that fuels and maintains an inspiring workplace experience for employees. Serves as key change manager for initiatives that have high employee impact. Provides meaning or context to the Human Resources results (e.g., retention statistics, critical open positions, employee satisfaction, and training initiatives and results); and demonstrates an understanding of owner priorities.
