Visa denied yesterday.

Vo: why the school
Me: a colleague who is an alumni and a friend who is a current student told me about the school and it's one of the best in California in terms of practical, also I've been interacting with one of the professors in the school who is also a Nigerian
Vo: in terms of practical?
Me: yes
Vo: who is your sponsor
Me: my father
Vo: what does he do
Me: he is a medical doctor and also into agriculture and export farm produce
Vo: a doctor have time for agriculture
Me: some members of the family are actively in charge of the business, dad is always in his hospital.
.
I left in sadness

If your dad is always in the hospital then why bring up agriculture talk ..... anyway firstly no matter what anyone says i still think Community College is a harder route to get a visa. Either you work on your responses especially why the school and others and try again or get admission for a bsc ....dont feel too bad. Joy comes someday or soon

Hello house, new here. Asking on behalf of a colleague.

1. Can a 39 year old apply for masters program in the states. Will the age be a barrier.
2. Does making a deposit for the tuition increase once chance of securing the visa.
3. Any school in mind that offers masters admission to HND students?

Thank you!!

Yes you can to JFK if it cheaper and then take a local flight to dallas and take a bus to texarkana.... it will be a very long journey and u be exhausted by the time u get to your final destination but yes it would be a lot cheaper and you get there ...if u see jfk to texarkana that also good as well

Also remember that most local flight do not come with checked luggage allowance so you also pay for that. So factor that in your calculations

Good day I got admission to study occupational health safety in Murray state university for a post baccalaureate course. I couldn't help notice someone condemn the school and also being denied visa because of the prerequisite. I really don't know how good the course of study is in the USA and already had some certifications in the above course. I keep pondering too whether nursing is better but that has its own prerequisite for accelerated ban having studied chemical engineering. Thanx

pls I sent my transcript to WES so they reply and saidba copy of my photocopy of my transcript is been sent to my school in Nigeria for verification a and that my whole stuf is on hold stil my school replies.pls wjo do you guyz tink am I on the right track?

When you get mail such as this from wes, try to follow up with your school. wes sends verification to schools in nthe form of electronic mails or courier.pls meet those in charge of this in ur school so they send a feedback quick enough. the whole process is expedited by doing this.

Happy sunday peeps.
I joined Nairaland specifically because of this insightful forum. I have obtained my form I-20 already and I want to pay the SEVIS fee. I do not know how to go about this and I don't have anyone in the US to help with the payment.
Well meaning fellows like walspring and Oludare please help me out.
My email address is bisyosinuga@gmail.com.
Thank you.
