Amoled pixels are always off when displaying black background, that's why when displaying black background battery isnt consumed. You could see the galaxy s and note series using amoled. Thats why the amoled is a brilliant display

The display features are a good thing to know tho, these little things lead you to knowing about other things that I'm sure you should care about.The people that put time, effort and special feautures into creating these devices know what they are doing, it's hardly a coincidence.

AMOLED screens generally have somewhat sharper screens with very dark 'blacks'and higher color saturation.
they have better viewing angles sice each pixel is lit up individually.

But they are susceptible to 'burn in': some pixel in the screen getting damaged by heat.

A quality AMOLED screen is almost always better than a quality LCD screen.

Maybe I bought a bad one, horrible battery life, heats like crazy etc.

The only good thing it has is the camera and sound quality while making calls.

That Beast is no child's play, I don't think the Phantom 6 "trumps" it (whatever that means) but I trust that whichever Tecno decides to stick to will be a good choice, most likely gon be the AMOLED

It's funny how these things intersect tho, Tecno puts a not so great battery capacity on the Phantom 6 so it can have the beauty it has in terms of design, then uses AMOLED screen which enhances both design and helps battery life, looks like a win win, last last!

I prefer the AMOLED sha easily. The Phantom 6 + might be better than the Phantom 6 but I prefer the Beauty. Preference.
