admax: You spoke my mind. The guy should be ashamed bringing such folly to public forum. Am sure the 2kegs supposed real oil are diluted with substance to make up the quantity. Nigerians are simply despicable. We whine and complain about the government everyday but our predisposition is still very crude and selfish. The lady deserves jail 3 Likes |

Ermacc: She was engaging in illegal activities. She is a criminal as well as the criminals who sold her the oil. She had no choice but to make a deal lest they beat and rob her for their troubles. 1 Like |

So is it because of 4k savings that your sister decided to patronise smugglers, and now you say she almost got scammed. I think you are naive in your thinking. They say that he who comes to equity should come with clean hands. YOU BUY PRODUCT FROM THIEF AND YOU SAY THE THIEF TRY TO THIEF FROM YOU. 1 Like |

Your Sister was aiding and abetting. She's an accomplice in such an illicit affair. I hope true justice is served sooner rather than later. We Nigerians are our own problem 1 Like |

Since water is more dense than oil and sinks to the bottom of any container with oil. How is your sister sure that, either the bottom half or 1/4th is not water? When she found out that two were water, She should have either emptied the other two containers completely into something else to make sure that all of it is oil or refuse the deal completely. |

uvie66: I didn't read where it was indicated that they are thieves. They simply bypassed Nigeria border laws and policies to bring the goods in. On another level, the same people who are calling the woman 'criminal' would bet an eye to buy foreign rice because it taste good not minding the fact that it is a banned goods and most have been smuggled into Nigeria or when they have little money, will sneak into cotonou to buy cars illegally or when they get little foreign currency will chose to patronize the mallam on the road side to exchange it illegally at a higher rate than to go to a Bureau de change and get government official rate, I can go on and on how these same people circumvent Nigeria laws to have a more favorable outcome, yet you are calling someone who did the exact same thing 'criminal'...HYPOCRITES! |
