@bolded, he isn’t obligated to getting goods to customers address, that’s something buyers needs to work on. You can’t pay for only goods and expect seller to do delivery with their own funds. I’m also a buyer too but we’ve got to be honest here, he paid 11k for the gadget so a meetup should be arranged for customer to pick his goods.

Lol. When I was 19, I worked for R&S Lotto. These Lebanese people are very heartless to the core — all they care about is their money. You dare not short pay 1k during accounting or you're in for it. It was even worse and frustrating cos I worked under the branch manager.

On a normal day, I do make up to 150k in sales and 200k on Sundays, and the white people were very happy with me — even asking how I am able to make that much when others hardly average 50k a day. Me sef I was shocked o cos most of my customers were men who left all the lotto girls across my stand to come and patronize me — a male o. (Even bus conductors were not exempted), but the oyibo people no send you if their money no complete during account o.

As a matter of fact, I do wake up by 5AM. By 6:30 - 7:00 I'm already in my stand. The least time I do close is by 11PM. I play all the daily games. I was the highest income generator for my boss (the branch manager). Worst of all is that my referral (my boss girlfriend) was collecting 5% of my salary as against the 15% I was supposed to be paid.

Long story short, my mum had to force me to quit against my wish cos of the risk involved. My house is far from my stand — I live in a rural area. That means by that late hour of the night, I'm always going back home with over 100k everyday to be submitted in the office the next day. Lol. I saw money at 19, but my mama was the one collecting my salary. The work was very stressful but I love the experience I garnered.

However after all is said and done I have a strict policy of never sending any money to anyone until I've inspected and I'm satisfied with the item. no amount of video call would make me part with a Kobo. no talk of "pay fast or I'd sell it to someone else" would make me pay you. if you sell it to someone else then I just assume it wasn't meant to be bought by me. I extend this same policy to anything I'm selling too. I recently sold my Redmi note 7 here and the person I sold it to actually offered to pay before she comes. I vehemently refused to accept payment. I told her she'd have to come down to inspect and pay if she's satisfied with the item. she came a few hours later and paid. took it home and business was concluded.

We should blame the scammed person for paying before getting item NOT for trying to buy something at a ridiculous price. or would it have been better if she paid 50K for the fridge instead of whatever she paid?

Let's face the real issue rather than focusing on the price of a deal. thanks

Thanks Pocohantas, I have a delivery guy that handles my deliveries but sometimes we meet customers with small pocket like mine , and if perchance it happens I’m heading in that direction, I just help with the delivery , it’s all about understanding because I want to sell too, some customers are nice , when treated well, they reciprocate, they even refer you when you demonstrate honesty but this one came so hard on me, a case of 1 in 10, I have good relationship with people.
I have already put that matter behind me.

in 2020 I bought a PS3 with 2 pads. many CDs, charger cord, HDMI, PS3 remote (which I never knew existed) for 25K. let's just say that package without the console is worth more than 25K
