It is madness though for the democratic party to fund abortions in God forsaken countries in the world, when American military vets are in the fuccking street and our infrastructure and Education need a massive overhaul.
Anybody with a brain will see that trump is right on the money here.

Anuofia. What law are u taling about. Roe v Wade says any woman in any state in the Union has a RIGHT to her reproductive choice. If you are a MAN, you are automatically disqualified to make that decission or even to comment about it, except if you are uneveolved nation like Nigeria.

Until Dumb MEN like you can have your own pregnancy, you and I as men, have absolutely NO RIGHT to tell a woman at least in advanced countries like d the US and all EU countries, and other advanced and evolved humans on this earth.

The US is not Nigeria where women have NO RIGHTS. in the States their RIGHTS is 100% guaranteed NATIONWIDE under Roe V Wade.

A fetus is not a member of society, and so long as it's inside the woman's body, is subject to her will. It has no rights. It doesn't even know it exists. Be grateful the law allows for viable fetuses to be spared from the legality of abortion. One would think that by 6 months gestation, the woman will have had enough time to decide if she wants to keep it or not. After that, an abortion is called induced labor. The point to abortion is the cessation of a pregnancy. The consequences to the fetus or embryo are irrelevant. You have no right to tell someone what to do with their body when the consequences of those actions will never, ever have any impact on you whatsoever. An abortion never once caused someone to be too impaired to drive...at best, maybe anesthesia might, but like any procedure that uses general anesthesia, people are forbidden from driving for the rest of that day. If they do anyway, it wasn't the abortion itself that caused whatever accident to happen. The procedure performed is irrelevant to the presence of anesthetic drugs.

Think about this, for example: does a complete stranger have the right to take your internal organs without your permission, even if you're the only match on earth and that person will die without it/them? No. You are the only person who has the right to your organs. If someone else dies because they can't use your organs, that's not your problem. Likewise, it's not the woman's problem if the embryo or fetus can't survive without stealing HER organs and blood supply. A fetus is a parasitic entity that survives by attaching itself to, and siphoning nutrients from, a host organism...the mother. Its right to remain attached until birth is dictated solely by the woman. If at any point she changes her mind on allowing the fetus to remain inside her body, she retains the right to remove it, just like someone who wants to get rid of bot fly larva in their skin, or tape worms in their intestines. You have no right to force them to carry THOSE parasites to the natural point of exit...so what makes you think you have the right to legislate forcing a woman to carry a potentially fatal pregnancy to term?

Although brutal, this is a very strong argument I culled from somewhere (can't remember the name of the guy that posted this unfortunately). This is something for pro-life guys to think about.

Is it that people in this forum cannot read or have comprehension difficulties? Where in the said law did it say president Trump made abortion illegal? What the laws simply says is that it withdraws federal funding for organisations that is involved in helping others procure abortions. This means people who can afford it can procure their own abortions.

Since rich people did not need federal funding through charity organisations to procure abortions in the first case, this law will only affect the poor.

Also, Same-Sex Marriage is law, he can't do anything about it and he has openly stated he agrees it is the law of the land. If he attempted to roll this back in any measure, I can boldly state to you, he'll be out of office sooner than you expected.

P.S: I am 100% pro-life, however, i know Trump's signature has absolutely nothing to do with illegalizing abortion in the US. Only the Supreme court can illegalize abortions in the United States, and suffice to say that case would bring the US to its knees if he dares such.

President Trump is only de-funding planned parenthood, which means agencies and organization that support planned parenthood can not seek/ receive any form of grant from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

The USAID is the biggest US, non-governmental financier to international development especially around developing countries like Nigeria.

Planned Parenthood says 3% of the services it provides are abortions.

2. Sexual education
Planned Parenthood says it provides sex education to 1.5 million young people and adults each year.

3. Pregnancy prevention and birth control
Planned Parenthood says it prevents an estimated 579,000 unintended pregnancies per year.

4. Pregnancy tests: 1.1 million tests done in 2014

5. Prenatal care: provided to 17,419 people in 2014

6. Sexually transmitted disease screening and treatment

Planned Parenthood says this accounts for 42% of the services provided: Most of the funding here goes to Africa

7. Pap smears (cervical cancer screening): 270,000 per year

8. Breast exams: 360,000 per year

9. Research: Planned Parenthood said in its 2013-14 annual report that it participated in more than 70 research projects.
