I've always wondered what happens when u throw a smart key fob out the window while driving. Well the guy autovlog tried this and it's a mixed feeling.

1. While driving and the key fob is thrown out, it does nothing. It doesn't give any notification until u get to ur destination and tries to open the door, then u get the warning that no key found. That is where u are f**ked.

So let's say u have an angry girlfriend and she throws out ur smart key at shagamu without u knowing .. ur destination is Benin. U are gonna drive to Benin before u discover u don't have ur key, ,at least for a Ford fusion.

But what about when u throw out the key before moving the car... This is where "smart" comes in. The car will give u a warning as soon as u start moving that no key detected. So don't worry, if u are the type that keep ur key in the cup holder and u slept with an olosho who wasn't happy with u, she decides to steal ur key, once u stop the car for her to step out, the moment u accelerate u will get the warning that no key detected.

The car will shutdown in motion especially if its those push to start button ignition . There is a certain meter the fob key must maintain with the car
