I agree with you, it's just unfortunate that some parents think it's debasing and will distract the child. My little sister who's in SS1 now has been learning during the weekends and holiday at a Hairdressing shop since JS.

We thought it was child's play until hairdresser spoilt my centre path Christmas hair in 2015. She loosened it and made it from the scratch very neatly.
