The Minister of Health Dr. Isaac Adewole has commissioned the first ever 24 hrs emergency response center built by the Imo State Government under Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha.

The center which is located at the former Fire Service Station, Weatheral road, Owerri, the Imo State Capital is part of the State Government's programs targeted at making life comfortable for the citizenry through conscious investments in programs that guarantee safety of lives and properties.

Meantime, the Federal Government has showered encomiums on the Imo State Governor for his giant strides in governance generally, especially in the health sector. Speaking through the Minister of Health Prof. Isaac Adewole who performed the commissioning for the center, the FG congratulated Imo people for being blessed with a Governor like Chief Okorocha whose love and compassion for his people cannot be doubted. The minister also pledged the donation of two ambulances to enhance the running of the center.

On his part, the Imo State Governor assured Imolites of his unwavering commitment to making lives better for them.
