we are alive for two reason
first is to showforth our praise to God: who is d author of ur breath Isaiah43:21 we are to thank him for creating us .

second is to seek him and his kingdom through d follow prayer , study of d word of God and so on and so forth Matthew 6:33

1. Is there any use trying to fill the ocean with jerrycans and buckets? Of what use is human praise to a self existent being who with his imagination created a universe. Such attempts at massaging a divine ego is self evidently useless.

Such uselessness doesn't deserve to be of human purpose.

2. Studying the bible or the word of God can not be a cause unto itself. It must be of practical value to us such as assisting us to live a moral life et al. Therefore it comes as a surprise to me when you suggest that a guide to life is a purpose onto itself.
