very Shameful as a country that the youths, most of which are seemingly educated are supporting this ? are they victims of natural disaster is it not shameful that communities are begging for food ? what happened to their lands ?

I use to hear that Just has the best farming weather in the whole country, I use to hear of tomato jos... so hv these lands suddenly stopped producing food ? are these communities waiting to be fed by the govt when nothing is wrong with them ?
and the first sily youths are as dumb as to say "food is more important than Immunisation" You source For food fools, that's where Human dignity comes in, you don't seat down to beg for it.

True , as shameful as a full blooded adult like you being paid to come and defend a failed govt online ...just saying ooo

that is a major hausa settlement in Jos, they voted APC full time.
Re: Jos Communities Reject Polio Vaccine, Want Food Instead by Nobody: 8:16am On Jan 31, 2017
Understandable, but they could still accept the vaccine and request for food supplies and assistance

You hit the nail on the head.Lazy youths all over. No Government in the world will exist just to share money and food to every citizen. Wake up and farm. Jos have one of the most favourable arable lands in the country, pull your acts together, form a farming group and turn your destiny around.
Be there blaming Buhari while other people are smiling to the bank already.

Is it not this same Jos where the sheer quantity of food can suffocate you? Get back to your farms, people!

Smh, Just look at how Buhari turned Nigeria into India of the 1940's, and this wicked change happened within a space of 2 years! I really pity the masses on what they are passing through.

So it's better the child grows fat and deformed for lack of vaccination than lean and well formed because of present day hunger?

I wonder, between mental poverty (illiteracy) and financial poverty (material lack), which is a lesser evil?

Some people re just so dumb in replying to dis post, JOS is one of d states in Nija wit d best farming land to farm all kind of food items, bt due to stupidity of people around waiting for d govt to give dem cash & feed dem direct into dia mouth d refuse to use wat God provide.. Stupid people plenty for Jos.

One of the major problem in the North, yes I know there is hunger in town, but you guys shouldn't reject polio vaccine... You will now see them begging with polio everywhere when they won't take the vaccine at the right time cos of religion believe...

And you think Jos is your typical northern city?

When will you people stop viewing everyone as Muslim Hausa-Fulani?

Jos people don't beg.

And as per religion, they are 95% Christians. Save for a few indigenous ones, a majority of the Muslims are settlers from Bauchi and environs.

Although I suspect this happened in a Muslim community. No Christian in Jos will be so dumb as to refuse immunization or depend on government for any form of assistance.
