A 19-year - old unemployed woman, Ifeoluwa Adekunle, charged with stealing N60,000 at a wedding was on
Wednesday arraigned at an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court in Lagos.
Adekunle, a resident of Alagbado, Lagos, was said to have committed the offence on Dec. 12, 2016, at La- Occasion Event Centre, New Oko -Oba, Agege, Lagos.
“ The accused, who was not invited to the wedding, stole the celebrant ’ s money, ” he said.According to the Prosecutor, Insp . Clement Okuoimose, the defendant unlawfully entered into the wedding reception of one Mrs Adeshina Adeyanju and stole N60, 000 belonging to the bride.
He told the court that the money was stolen from the bride’s bag while she was dancing.
