Phyno uses a lot of Yoruba that's why he went mainstream. Let's not forget flavour too.

There's no gain saying that Yoruba language is more used for secular music because of the Lagos factor but to say not artiste can go mainstream without Yoruba is not only myopic but a display of quantum idiocy.

2face brought a revolution to music in Nigeria so the queation is Which yoruba did 2face sing before going international?

Or is it Psquare? That are the most successful Nigerian artistes ever (in terms of record sales). Their song "personally" is the most viewed Nigerian song ever. Not a word of Yoruba is in it.

Flavor is loved in the Carribean and all over the world. He doesn't use a word of Yoruba.

Timaya was the highest paid artist at some point. He never uses Yoruba.

Patoranking never uses Yoruba.

Runtown never uses Yoruba.

Or is it Tekno?

One of the hottest musicians of old "Edna" sang mostly in Isoko.

Stop postulating rubbish. Talent is what takes you far, not tribe, not language.

Apologies on their behalf. you know they're truly myopic when they don't understand sarcasm.

I don't converse with people who neither speak nor understand sarcasm. Don't transfer your myopia into my life.

Oh yes ..Flavor is mainstream he didn't add Yoruba
Phyno is mainstream he didn't add yorba
I'll bliss same

But it makes business sense to add major languages

Davido added Igbo in IF
Do banj always adding Igbo
Bank w also do same

It's just business model that's all

Get a general acceptability

Simple

Stop acting Superior
