Academic Staff Union of University, KSU Chapter embark on an indefinite strike today being 3rd of February, 2017 due to some conflicts between the state university and kogi state government. This action was laid today as a result of the meeting held by the members of the association. Also, there have been an on-going strike by all tertiary institutions in kogi state which the formed body was called JAC Joint Action Committee in which the strike was embarked on the 31st of January, 2017 in an attempt to sue kogi government due to the screening exercises and retirement scheduled by the kogi state government. source: http://www.distinctedu.com.ng/2017/02/kogi-state-university-ksu-ASUU-chapter.html?m=1 |
