Sky Blue: OK. I understand your point very well. The problem likely lies with my inability to establish mine. . . We might continue when I get back; I am going now. Cheerio! ![]() |

If you are a non-muslim in Saudi Arabia . . . you are expected to bend to the wishes of Saudi Arabia and its people . . . Yet a muslim is in a non-muslim European country expects the European country to bend to his or her wishes, while you sometimes public declare that you want to take over their own country for Allah ![]() ![]() ![]() -------------------------------------------- Just as @Jesoul has said, its a slippery slope . . . whats the borderline between racism and defense against Islam. -------------------------------------------- Nevertheless, the situation is that YOU CANNOT PRACTISE ISLAM WITHOUT DISCRIMINATING AGAINST NON-MUSLIMS, ITS IMPOSSIBLE, SIMPLY BECAUSE ISLAM REQUIRES YOU TO SUBJUCATE NON-MUSLIMS. So the issue is that Swiss do not want you to subjucate them on their own land. . . Hence Muslim can kindly leave switzerland and just go to a muslim country like saudi arabia to practise their islam. YOU ARE AND KNOW THAT MUSLIMS WOULD NOT DO THAT, CUS PART OF THE REASONS THEY ARE IN THE WEST IS CUS: 1. They enjoy the freedom they find in the west. 2. It is an economic for them to be in the West. 3. Being in the West and increasing muslim population of the West is actually a form of covert islamisation of the West by Arabs, non-arab middle easterns and their other brainwashed muslim people of other races. |

Part of the issue is that Muslims are too embarrased to admit that they are worshipping the moon god called Allah . . .hence the moon and star symbols are difficult to let go . . . ![]() ![]() ![]() Otherwise why would a muslim fret about Minaret if it is really true that it has nothing to do with the Moon God Allah. -------------------------------------------------------------- A Bible believer knows that burning the Cross has absolutely nothing to do with Salvation of the Soul of a man , hence a bible believer knows that burning it does not make any spiritual difference to him cus . . . HE IS NOT SUPPOSED TO WORSHIP IMAGES, HENCE THAT YOU BURN AN A SO CALLED CHRISTIAN IMAGE MAKES NO BIBLICAL DIFFERENCE. |

so many whiners in here. There was a referendum so what's the problem? Minaret is just an Architectural Design that has nothing to do with the traditions of Switzerland plan and clear this has nothing to do with the faith of Islam. |

Akanniade:Infact eh, I don't have enough 'gbams' to give you for this one ![]() ![]() Sky Blue:I say even if they ban mosques, it is their country and their perogative. I would be very upset as a taxpayer some foreigner comes to my backyard and dictates to me what I can ban or cannot ban. If you don't like it, there are daily flights back to the ME. |

Re: Swiss Vote To Ban Minaret Construction by No2Atheism(m): 11:03pm On Dec 07, 2009 |
toshmann: - It is not as clear cut as that . . . otherwise it can become a slippery slope into racism. - Also why is it okay for Muslims to complain about something which they tend to do worse against non-muslims. - As someone as already said on this forum: HOW DO YOU BRING YOURSELF TO TOLERATE THE INTOLERANTS (i.e. muslims) |

Sky Blue said: Europe and its constant need to be politically correct. The politically correct ideals and statutes are what make's you able to walk the streets without being called a Nigga. If you hate this European constant need to be politically correct why don't you come back to Naija. Jeez I hate goons. |

This is not a matter of being politically correct or incorrect. This is the decision of a people on what they want their community to be or not be like. What they have done is constitutional else the muslim community can seek redress in the courts, isn't it ? This is the same process that has made many of them welcome in these European countries though they are wanted by their undemocratic govts back home where no methods would be spared in bringing them to "order". How many of you would feel comfortable living with a person who was arrested in Afghanistan, detained in Gitmo and released to his country of naturalisation(not home country) cos of the lack of evidence of what we know they're probably guilty of ? The same process that ensures that they cannot be 'unjustly' deported to Syria or Yemen where they would be detained and tortured to death has decided to keep the architectural heritage and customs of It's people intact. There is nothing wrong with that unless the supreme court, which they have access to, interpretes it to be unfair treatment. |

Tippy Top: Correction, the reason blacks can walk down the street without an overbearing risk of being called a "nigga", is because such can be treated as verbal assault and there is a functioning judicial system and reasonable law enforcement. What I was referring to with regards my statement is when such political correctness becomes so stifling that obvious truths cannot be spoken, not because such truths are necessarily punishable under the law or infact actually offensive (like in the case of being called a "nigga" ![]() I was going to ignore your little tantrum when you didn't even have the courtesy to ask for elaboration from "goons" such as myslef. Such obstreperous behaviour though quite irritating, have been better perfected by other poster on Nairaland to the point of now being boring and not worth indulging. However, I thought it might be better if I actually make the effort to elaborate and enlighten you; if it means someone gets educated in the process then surely not all is lost. By the way, you do not need to respond to every post if it irritates you, I will not indulge you any further. Have a nice day. |

@Skye Blue, Your argument is sincerely commendable; unlike others, for instance some posters above. Too disappointing. |

muhsin: You have not made any meaningful argument from the inception of this thread, when are you going to start having a honest debate? its a proper democratic setting with referendum, take off your Islamic glasses to get the broad picture. |

And you think yours make sense? Wonderful. ![]() ![]() ![]() Dude, take off your anti-Islamic glasses to get the other side things. Not mere words on page. |
