Family / Re: A Skill My Husband Never Knew I Possessed. by 360who: 11:23am On Oct 10 |
Dope. That hat would cost 5 pounds if it were in the UK. Knit about 10. Put in a sealed transparent bag. Open an tiktok account. And sell each pack of 10 for 29.99. And add as many followers as you can. You'd be earning 66k per pack. And charging shipping according to location. You can use the DHL pay-later option where the parcel owner pays at the DHL location near them to pick up. If you sell 10 packs, 660k. If you sell (at worst) 50 packs in a yr, that's 3.3m+ off your side hustle. Colors: Pink, Sky Blue, Beige, Light Brown, Brown, Red, Cream etc. You could also opt for 5 pack but price that at 14.99. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Smithcole70: Start with IT, you don't need to know code to start at beginner level and basic salaries in the following 1. Software/ Quality Assurance Tester 2. UX Designer/Product Designer All you'd need is data. I'd send you private links later on where and how to get those courses for free. Then study them hard for 6 months to a yr. With your determination, you will be in tech before you know it. Either via freelance or on-site. Plus with AutoCad you'd be a different level UI designer as long as you apply the C.R.A.P methodology to your UI designs. And learn about torrents. That's a lifetime hack. I made over 3.3m (in today's rate) on my first contract in 2013 . Billed as a company and delivered. And all I knew back then was Graphic Design and website development. And this project involved only Graphics. No web. The other skills used to finish the project involved writing articles and photography. I learned photography via video freelance projects and the articles, I wrote with my media experience. With multiple skills, you are a walking business. So when you start thinking and operating like one, doors will open. And so would your confidence. And when the confidence is there and one contract is out the way, register your business. You're smart so I reckon you will learn quickly and at your own pace |

Hausa: I wouldn't blame your mother, she cursed the world with your birth. Learn to mind your business when two people are talking, child. The mature fella understood the angle and replied respectfully. You on the other hand were not taught manners or communication skills by your parents whom have failed in parenting. So you come on here and assume everyone is around your age or btw. Go find something worthwhile to do with your time. I've got a business to run. |

Smithcole70: Start with a change of mindset. Most grads and undergrads in Nigeria have been brainwashed with the idea that a certificate automatically equals a better life than the one you've got or an opportunity/ opening door to a successful career. Think about it, how many ppl have the same certificate as you. You are up against over 15 million ppl so the ratio of success is slimmer when compared to entrepreneurs. You spend 10 yrs moving up the ladder or trying to, at a firm or business. By the 10th yr, the entrepreneur has established over 100 contacts and processed over 100 transactions (all beneficial to his network, net worth, bank account and family). The worker on the other hand gets a promotion and a pay rise of less than 5%. Get the picture? Acquire a skill. A skill that is not easily learned or one isn't as common. This is what will set you aside to make money from each one. All the info you need to do that is available online and it all takes time. Most ppl want help and quick doe but they won't put in the work. They want it quick. So have a 1 yr plan to achieve a skill or a set of skills to make money with. On your way up, someone will always notice your gift and invest or demand for your services. |

Instead of investing in Nigerians every week, set aside some money and invest in a project that helps bring children out of their dire drastic environments and projects that make them strive for a better future. Invest in their skills or create avenues for them to use their brains to lift themselves out of poverty or harsh living situations. I've been doing this for years and it creates better individuals. Most Nigerians only think about now, when it comes to money. So when you give them money, they tend to squander it stupidly. I once invested in someone that wanted to come out of a very bad ghetto, via opening a music studio. He was a super producer so I gave him a Macintosh to see what he'd do with it and told him if he could use that in anyway to begin the studio then I'd invest in the equipment. Sadly, he sold it, blew the money and the studio never came to fruition. And this was because he valued the money more than his future Now I invest in kids with a drive to succeed and a determination to be successful. And its paid off. 1 Like |

Except you seek funding, its a very tough space to last in. The corruption at the CBN is so deeply exhausting that you'd keep paying annually to stay afloat as it is a very crowded space and very rife with corruption. I'd rather use 50m to set up a startup that is personally funded and solves a niche problem. Then when you have paperwork to show that the business is making tons of money, investors would fight over you. Watched a lot of people fold up in the finance space. For you to succeed, you must have major backing. Someone who is not scared of failure. Never believe all you see on the internet. The Nigerian tech space is a fascade compared to what really goes backdoors. A lot of foreign investors dont trip in becos they are highly successful. They trip in becos they launder way more and way easier than they'd ever do in the western world. As regulations are not as strict and you can get away with anything in Nigeria. |

shine12: Howdy mate. Reach out to Delafé Ministries and support their outreach if you may. They own the biggest video archive of Christ testimonies in the world. They are a US-based business. Or donate to a cause that supports people changing their lives and the lives of others. |

trutharena: He attended but did not finish. He paid to have it forged. And the school has fired the person responsible hence why they do not wanna release his records as it puts them in serious problems with the state and the govt. They face huge fines, a reshuffle and a media backlash, a tremendous scandal. See for yourself: https://www.youtube.com/live/_Vj8BKcC2iI?si=GvfxOPUoQrrS26Lv |
