Protests In Nigeria- An Ignored Tantrum! By Nimi Princewill by PsychedeliQ: 6:05pm On Feb 06, 2017 |
Every Nigerian at this point, wants to be photographed with a placard which showcases them as being involved in a rather 'empty' protest that will eventually yield absolutely no dividends! The President regardless, will continue in office(in the case he's still alive as claimed), and the toxic economic hardship will persist. No changes recorded after the noisy rants of our dear protesters. Protests have never permanently solved any problem in Nigeria. What we urgently need, is some sort of a revolution! If we can not afford to take things up a notch and pay whatever price is required, then we'll continue to wallow in our wild goose chase. Our protests will only look good on our social media handles and won't go beyond the cover pages of our national dailies! Twitter: @princewill_nimi |
