#WorldHealthDay - Today is World Health Day and the theme for 2017 is DEPRESSION.

I think that it's really easy to fall into depression especially in Nigeria, worse still in Lasgidi. Aside from my own thoughts though, WHO confirms Depression to be the highest cause of disability worldwide. So yea I'm correct like that

The jobhunt is indeed a Hunt. It could seem like the survival of the fittest (and yes you could say it is in most cases).
But who says I am not the fittest, who says you aren't? Really, what stops either of us from aligning self to fit the race?

Don't worry about it too much. Give every hurdle your best shot. Allow Optimism to shine brightly through you even as the world tries to press you down with pessimistic influences.

Yes I know what you are about to say..... "One shouldn't shun reality". Indeed I agree - don't be blinded by Optimism, rather be made alive by it.

Lolz sorry partner, I really have no idea beyond the experiences on past Nairaland threads. I haven't gotten to this stage before. In 2015 I was still a serving corper and didn't even get beyond a confirmation that my application had been received.
So I'd say, we explore the journey as it comes to us

I think next stage is an assessment centre... presentation, group presentation, group discussion to assess how well you play within a team and your analytical skills for group discussions. We GAAP were asked to come with finance focused newspaper so am expecting a discussion on recent finance topics from cbn new forex policy and its impacts, to oil price tussle, to US bombing syria and its impacts to Brexit news to TBills to stock market, monetary and fiscal policy. Am sure most of us have gotten them papers anyways.
Be prepared plus i think a proper interview will follow next and there mayb lunch time observation as well. Prepare and still keep an open mind.

My thoughts exactly, but it might just be an individual presentation. I think we are really going to enjoy this stage, discussing current events and its impact on every sphere of economy sounds interesting.

For GAAP Candidates: I hope we Av all gotten the financial newspaper. So I read thru the paper and I keep thinking, what exactly will dey ask us as relating to the newspaper they asked us to bring. Can we Pls discuss abt this?
