Cupid had the last laugh

Cupid, a little chubby angel demon with an arrow and a bow which is supposedly the arrow of love, went around the earth in a state of boredom. In his head he was like," I am so bored now, if only i can be assigned to other duties like...." he trailed off, uncertain what other duties he would have loved apart from meddling in people's affairs." Helping people find love is a good job too!" He sighed.

But our dear cupid is more trouble than you could ever imagine, rather than helping people find each other, he decides to make things a little bit of fun for himself! after all his job would be so boring without all the dramas and fun!



Cupid continued roaming the earth, wondering how to create a little bit of drama. He sighted a young girl and fired his arrow without a second thought! then he smiled, looked back and fired some more at her! it was only supposed to be once but cupid only wants to have fun remember?

Then he remembered that he should find a partner for the girl, but rather than doing so he struck two more girls with the same doses he gave to her before swooping down looking for a man to bring into this mix. But sometimes he would struck the man with so little dose that even him, cupid, will wonder if he hadn't gone overboard with it.

Did i mention that one of the other two girls struck by cupid's arrow could be a colleague or an ex? or a family friend or even a distant cousin! crazy right? the other girl could probably be a neighbor or a family friend's daughter etc. Then off cupid goes to find fortune or misfortune, you tell me, to bring them all together and the fun begins!

While some are crying their hearts out on their pillows, while some are telling their girlfriends 'uhu- no more!', while some are fighting, praying, frustrated or simply too happy to notice all the chaos going on around them or more like too infatuated to care, dear old cupid is having fun!. Fortune might decide to help one of them in the mix and make them victorious and of course with the grudging consent of our dear old cupid.

Here's what he does while the whole drama is going on, he settles himself on a tree branch, sipping coconut juice or whatever juice he likes, while watching the drama from his tree top, sometimes he laughs so hard that he tumbles to the ground, sometimes he would giggle, sigh and clap his hands gleefully. After a while, good old fortune starts messing with cupid's fun, the boredom sets in and off he goes looking for more victims sorry more candidates.


You be careful now, watch your back and be at alert because cupid might be right behind you at this very moment. He could be closer than you think.... I hope he gives you both the right doses, i hope he isn't too bored by the time he finds you. As for me, Cupid might have gotten here sooner than I thought but don't worry! fortune is at work!
