Re: Why Are Nigerian Cartoons Rare? by grafikdon: 1:17pm On Jun 14, 2007
lol. . . EOTRS was a 2006 affair so that means there's been more improvement since then . . . watch out for Captain Waka Waka. . . lol just kidding on the Waka Waka ish.

The one eyed will win award when everyone else is blind. Haba. Gdon is the very don but lets call a spade a spade!!!!! Eh! Dont let our one shot at animation talent degenerate into another nollywood
Re: Why Are Nigerian Cartoons Rare? by grafikdon: 10:50pm On Jun 15, 2007
@ D'zero grafik was just fooling around

I can't see a spade and call it a cow. . . actually, I cringe when I see anything I did before EOTRS. . . heck I have done better stuff since EOTRS and I kinda don't even like EOTRS at the moment. . . you know, because of the new 'Village Movie'

About the Nollywood stuff. . . nah, don't worry, I am seriously heading towards Mamoru Oshiiwood by every means necessary grin

@ grafikdon

Been wanting to meet with the persn/people who did Chika and i knew instantly it was the same crew that did ijoya. i'm with ICStudios and we do 2D animation, i'll like for us to meet and discuss, i'm sure we can help each other out towards yuour next project. have you ever thought of a collabo job?

We do Illustrations, Comics, Animation, Video graphics/production and Advertising.

Lets talk. call the office on 01-8752922 or call me on my cell 08023515239. just ask to speak with sirgai.

@ Gdon

I'm not saying the video was up to standard, but that it won an award, period!
I've seen a couple of videos u did after that and though there was serious improvement,
the songs were crappy and the work went with them into obscurity.
So, u might want to choose who u work with.

@ Sirgai,Gdon,Darkman,
What I'm seeing in this forum is a group of men that can take this thing to another level,
each of us has skills in varying areas, and everyone has his strong point.
and my bet is if we can work together, we can break barriers and really get to start something
just a suggestion

Maybe in the next 100years before Nigeria will be able to make a standard cartoon that will reach the international market.
