Come, let us reason together [ Jeremiah chapter something verse something] What do you think is the predominant cause of break-ups? I simply feel is our ego "thingy". One person feels entitled, slighted, superior and wants to be the one who always gets to say, "Its over between us". CASE STUDY: I decided to break up with my girl this evening. However, when I dropped the bombsell, my formerly "conflict-fearing" babe, became all chatty. Long story short, I still have a relationship with her. Why? Break-ups can be initiated by lack of mental synchronization between partners. One of them is convinced that he/she needs to quit suffering and move on. Ego is not necessarily the predominant cause. |
