Who benefits from the confused state of things in Nigeria? This is a very important question. Certainly, majority of Nigerians do not. They are bored of the country. But there are a group of people who enjoys the rugged way things present themselves in this country. They are the corrupt politicians who use their fellow citizens as a means to achieve their selfish ends. For these politicians, Nigeria must continue to exist. Nigeria is their private supermarket where they make their money. Every revenue that comes from this country goes into their private pockets. That is why the present government in Nigeria which has failed woefully is spending all the countries resources planning for a second term. They do not have any fear for anything nor do they have any shame of what they do. That is why they go around the country recruiting major politicians into a party that have failed and have betrayed the masses. Each day, shameless politicians join them because they are not thinking of the citizens but their personal financial gain. The present government rather that planning how to draw the country out of recession, goes around spending time and money planning for second term. Nigeria is their private supermarket.
In Nigeria, there is no accountability. They embezzle all the money and throw the little they want like peanuts to the citizens. For them, the lawlessness and the confusion in the country is a great opportunity for them to loot. The country as it is now gives them the opportunity to be lawless and do as they want. That is why they tell many lies and nobody questions them. After all, there is no rule of law.
The question is ‘must this country continue to be like this for the good of these heartless politicians who suck their fellow citizens for their selfish ends? Have the citizens any other choice? Must we be their slaves? What is your own view?

These are the five pillars on which a strong nation is built. The strength of any nation and the ability of such a nation to develop fast depend on the strength of these pillars:

1.Willingness to be together (Free choice of all parties)

2.The Nature of being together (How)

3.National Ideology (National Common Goal and how to reach the goal)

4.National Constitution (National Guide)

5.The Rule of Law (The National watchdog)

These five pillars are very evident in all nations outside Africa. In all these nations, there is the existence of the rule of law. One may commit an offence but he or she must be answerable before the law. Nobody is above the law, starting from the president. The law respects nobody outside Africa. What does it look like in Africa?

It is not a news that these five pillars do not exist in any of the African countries today. In Africa, there is nothing like the rule of law. That is why all these confusions. The other pillars must be in place before one can talk of the rule of law which is the last pillar and the watchdog. We do not have the rule of law in Africa but if you think we do, why must the Gambian president utter such statements after losing election? Why must the Nigerian president flout the court of law at will? Why must the South African president rule the country with his whims and caprices? It is unfortunate. But there is still hope.

We need to go back to the drawing board. We have our houses on the sand. It is obligatory for us to establish the foundation. There is no other way out of this mess other than coming together for dialogue in order to commence a socio-political restructuring of each African country (amalgam). Any person within or outside Africa, who is against this process of socio-political restructuring of African countries is the greatest enemy of Africa. In a very short time we lay down the program for this process as we shall explain the pillars one after another and how we are to achieve our goal of making Africa great!!! Long live Africa!!!

What is your view?

Do we have any of these five pillars in Nigeria or any of the African countries? What do you think? Do you see why we are backwards and we shall continue to be backwards? The truth shall set us free? If Nigerians accept to restructure the country, we shall be a great nation. If we do not, there is no need to allow the amalgam continue. It is a hell for people!!! What do your think?
Re: We Must Not Be Their Slaves!!! by Veritasafrique: 11:29pm On Feb 08, 2017
Our Goal!!!

Our target is to help Nigerians restructure the country in order to become a great nation. If some citizens fail to see reason for this, we shall encourage and lead other minor groups to achieve their independence so that people will not be again in hell on earth.

1. Willingness to be together?

Only amongst the looting elites whose sole aim is to loot the failed country into extinction.
As an Igbo, I have nothing in common with Arewa-Oduanistans to be sharing same country with them, other than skin colour, and after the events of 1966-70 till date, I think it's fair enough to say that Never will the Igbo willingly share a country with Arewa-Oduanistanis, it can only be at gun point.
You can put this to a test by conducting a referendum, if you feel like the activities of IPOB/MASSOB are not representing the true yearnings of the Igbo.

2.The nature of being together?
At gun point, it breeds disunity amongst the populace making it easy for looting elites to walk free by pitching the people against One Another.
As long as the Nigerian union remains a forced union, she can never get rid of bad leadership she has been infected with it, and can never rise.

3.National ideology:

United by Igbophobia and love for football, and servitude of the Hausa Fulani hegemony bereft of developmental ideas, unfortunately non of those are good enough to lift her from her failed state.

4.National constitution:
The constitution was inherited from Military dictators mainly from the North who where guided by parochial interests. The constitution in essence is legalization of injustice, inequality and unfairness, as opposed to justice, equity and fairness to all, which are building blocks of great nations.

5.Rule of law:
Don't get me started on this.

The only way nigeria can suurvive is by during the following
1. Leave religion out of politics
2. Stop ethnic discrimination
3. Listen to the will of the people
if all this is not done, i fear it's only a matter of time before Nigeria will be found in the dust bin of history
