Port Harcourt has an oil refinery and several other manufacturing plants that burn chemicals that are released into the air through smokestack. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSI9UlVVuMQ There is bound to be a lot of air pollution there, it's the same as most major producing cities worldwide however in the West.
